Adventure Motorcycle Training Weekends

Updated: Jan 11, 2022

BMW Motorrad off-road training

If you’ve been following our travels, you will know that we explore the most incredible parts of South Africa with our Adventure Motorcycles. Perhaps you’ve always wanted to come along on an adventure with us, but you’ve never felt comfortable enough off-road to make that booking. Or maybe you don’t feel like you know exactly what all the settings and programs on your bike actually do. We’ve recently created a grading system for our adventure motorcycle tours, and a lot of our clients who’ve come along on the lower graded tours have requested an adventure motorcycle training program that will give them that extra boost of confidence they still need. For all these reasons and more, we’ve decided to team up with an Internationally Accredited BMW Motorrad Instructor, Mike Grimsted, to bring you adventure motorcycle training weekends that will teach you some of the basic and advanced techniques that will elevate your confidence on your motorcycle! And as always, with all of SA Adventure’s events and tours, we will have a full support truck and trailer as well as a qualified ILS Medic on-site giving you further peace of mind! Our off-road motorcycle training is offered to all makes of adventure motorcycles.

This adventure motorcycle course has been designed for you if:

  • You’ve never ridden off-road before

  • You’ve ridden off-road but would like an extra boost of confidence

  • You would like to further your off-road knowledge and learn new off-road techniques

  • Anyone who has not done a course for sometime and would like to refresh skills
